Thanks for stopping in! The Farmer's Daughter is a local flower shop in Masontown, WV! We serve a large customer base as we want to provide joy and positivity to as many people as possible. We hope you can experience some of the positivity that comes from the smell and beauty of a floral arrangement!



The main face behind The Farmer's Daughter is owner and operator Natalie Phillips. One of Natalie's favorite titles is "The Farmer's Daughter" hence the name of the flower shop! Natalie grew up on her family's beef cattle operation in Masontown, WV where she was very active in helping raise cattle and day to day processes of the farm. Her favorite memories are checking the new baby calves with her dad. She also was very active in 4-H and FFA where she exhibited cattle at various livestock shows accross the country. You may be wondering, why a flower shop? Once Natalie began college she had a goal of owning a business, and was open to the plan God had for her. During her Junior year she realized the business she should start was a flower shop as there was a need in her community. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Agribusiness Management from WVU in December of 2022 and went to work for Walnut Lane Floral to gain experience in the industry. In July of 2023 she started The Farmer's Daughter. She is so thankful for all the support she has this far and cannot wait to see someone's day brightened and meet new customers! 



If you didn't know, the farmer we get our name after has two other daughters. You can catch them bringing humor to our everyday work life or maybe delivering a smile to someone. Marli is a senior at PHS where she has completed the floriculture class and occasionally helps at Walnut Lane. Her experience is a blessing and helps ensure our customers get the best out of their arrangements. Julia is a junior at PHS where she is currently enrolled in the floriculture class. She lights up any room and provides the best encouragement. If you have not yet met Marli and Julia we hope you can when you stop by the shop or open your door to a surprise delivery!
